I cycle to work

Last year, more than 21,000 enthusiastic cyclists rode to work. For some, it’s a daily habit; for others, a new discovery. Whether you’re taking a short ride or going for an Olympic-level effort, every pedal stroke counts. On 3 June, we’ll once again celebrate the fun, freedom and energy of commuting on two wheels. Will you join us (again) this time? Buying a safe bike is not for everyone. With the action I cycle to work, the Cyclists’ Union (Fietsersbond) and Cyclis Bike Lease want to lower that threshold. The more enthusiastic participants sponsor, the more families can find their way in society. After all, a bicycle offers the freedom to arrange your own transportation; independently and at your own pace. It’s healthier too, with less stress and more exercise – especially when the wind is against you. Cycling is more than just getting from A to B. It’s the fastest route to feeling great. That’s why I cycle to work goes much further for many people, with the bike remaining a loyal companion for all journeys – even after summer, the high season for two-wheelers. So, lease your bike, lose your stress… and don’t forget to grab a fresh croissant for the road!
