Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Orman Genel Müdürlüğü (OGM), Hazine ve Maliye Bakanlığı (HMB) aracılığıyla, Türkiye İklime Dirençli Ormancılık Projesi’nin (IDOP) uygulanmasına yönelik olarak Dünya Bankası’ndan finansman sağlamıştır. OGM, Projenin ana uygulayıcı kurumu olarak görev yapacaktır. Projenin genel amacı, iklim değişikliğinin artan risklerine karşı orman yangını ve orman direncini güçlendirmek ve demografik, peyzaj ve iklim değişiklikleri nedeniyle artan, büyük zarar veren orman yangınları riskine karşı kurumsal kapasiteleri artırmaktır. Projenin uygulama süresi 5 yıldır.

General Directorate of Forestry (OGM) has secured financing from the World Bank through the Ministry of Treasury and Finance (HMB) to implement the Turkey Climate Resilient Forests Project. OGM will serve as the leading project implementation agency. The project's overall objective is to strengthen forest fire and forest resilience against the increasing risks of climate change and to enhance institutional capacities against the growing, significant forest fire risks due to demographic, landscape, and climate changes. The implementation period of the Project is five years.
