IKT keskus on kaitseministeeriumi valitsemisalas tegutsev asutus, mis vastutab IT- ja sidealaste lahenduste ning teenuste tagamise eest. Keskuse ülesanded hõlmavad ajateenijate väljaõpet, kaitseväe IKT arhitektuuri väljatöötamist, teenuste juhtimist, arendusprojektide korraldamist, talitluspidevuse jälgimist, sagedushaldust ja pöördumiste lahendamist. IKT keskuse allüksused tegelevad erinevate teenusvaldkondadega, sealhulgas teenuste arendamise, sõjaliste teenuste, taristu, arvuti töökoha teenuste, ressursijuhtimise, teabehalduse, avalike teenuste ja kasutajatoe teenustega. Ajateenistuses saab teenida kasutajatoe spetsialistina või arendusmeeskonnas. ___ The Information and Communication Technology Centre (ICT Centre) is an organization within the jurisdiction of the Estonian Ministry of Defence responsible for ensuring IT and communication solutions and services. The center’s tasks include training conscripts, developing the overall architecture for the Estonian Defence Forces’ IT systems, managing services, coordinating development projects, monitoring service continuity, handling frequency management, and resolving incidents. IKT keskus comprises various units, such as service development, military services, infrastructure, computer workplace services, resource management, information management, public services, and user support. In the military service, one can serve as a user support specialist or be part of the development team.
