The Government of Andhra Pradesh has set-up ILEG as a global institute for research, knowledge exchange and governance reforms. ILEG comprises a group of young professionals from premier national institutes like IIMs, ISB, TISS, Azim Premji University and IITs with expertise spanning a vast number of domains and subjects. Together they work with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to create a happy, inclusive and competitive social ecosystem. ILEG has 6 Centres of specialization contributing to fulfill the Institute's mandate. The Centre for Leadership works to develop leadership qualities among government officials and professionals working in the fields of public policy and governance. The Centre for Governance focuses upon offering implementable research strategies for enhancing government efficiency at various levels of service delivery and create effective partnerships and collaborations between governments and businesses with optimized and shared risk management. The Centre for Competitiveness provides research and strategy to improve regional competitiveness to achieve the vision of establishing Andhra Pradesh as one of the top investment destinations globally by 2050. The Centre for Design & Standards looks into the state's service sector and identifies products and opportunities which can be used to promote Andhra Pradesh as a global brand. The Centre for Data Analytics, AI & BI provides reliable, robust and unparalleled Data Management and Analytical services to aid Data Driven decision-making and quantitative research within ILEG. The Centre for Communication and Knowledge Management is the conduit of information transfer between the Institute and its stakeholders, ensuring the consistency, reliability and aesthetics of the Institute's communications. The Institute of Leadership Excellence and Governance (ILEG) is a non-profit public company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013.
