Unsere Ziele bestimmen unser Handeln
Die Illustratoren Organisation e.V. (IO) ist der einzige Berufsverband für Illustrator*innen in Deutschland. Unsere Mitglieder arbeiten in allen Bereichen der professionellen Illustration. Als starke Gemeinschaft vertreten wir wirkungsvoll unsere wirtschaftlichen, politischen und künstlerischen Interessen gegenüber Politik und Verwertern.
Dabei sind wir keine bürokratische oder anonyme Institution, sondern ein lebendiger Interessensverband, gegründet von Illustrator*innen, die erkannt haben, dass wir als Einzelne nur wenig bewirken können, um unsere Gesamtsituation zu verbessern. Zusammen jedoch haben wir durch Größe und Gemeinschaft eine starke Stimme. Eine Stimme die mit unserem steten Wachstum immer lauter wird: Wir sind mittlerweile über 2.000 qualifizierte und engagierte Kollegen und Kolleginnen!
