Illustrators Platform

Illustrators Platform is one of Turkiye’s most prominent international social enterprises and a non-profit organization. Our community unites illustrators from all fields, techniques, and styles, making significant contributions to establishing illustration as a global cultural industry in our country. We primarily achieve this through mentorship programs with masters and professional artists, academies focused on literacy and entrepreneurship, a helpline for our members, as well as social gatherings, campaigns, conferences, workshops, interviews/panels, exhibitions, masterclasses, and training. Our activities aim to protect the legal and professional rights of illustrators, improve contract standards, elucidate the value of illustration, raise societal awareness, enhance professional standards, and create a collective social impact and ecosystem within the field. We advocate for our members' common interests and support them in their licensing deals with commissioners, publishers, advertising agencies, and more. Our platform is open to every artist and aspiring artist who identifies as an illustrator. We have 400 members, 15 committees, 23 university campus ambassadors, and direct access to over 10,000 individuals in the creative industry, specifically within all areas of illustration. We are an official member of the European Illustrators Forum (EIF), which connects us with 14 countries, 17 national illustrator associations, and over 12,000 illustrators. Additionally, we serve as a board member of the European Illustrators Association. In addition to Europe, we are in direct connection with the illustration world within a large network that extends from China to the American continent.
