ilo is a Portuguese brand that promotes investigation through wooden series. It consists of variations of the same principles of functionality, plastic expression and quality of materials; intimately linked to curiosity and to the enjoyment that well-designed objects bring to everyday life. As architects, we tend to seek inspiration in our daily references from work, for we believe architecture has no end in a project, it is a whole from a house’s foundations to the silverware that is used at the table. Well designed objects define the ambience and complete the architecture, so we hope to transport this ambition to the unique pieces we design.
