International Lecithin&Phospholipid Society (ILPS e.V.)

What is the ILPS? The International Lecithin and Phospholipid Society (ILPS) was registered in 2013 in Cologne, Germany as a non-for-profit association, and consists of corporate members from Academia, Institutes and Industry in the Food, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical and Technical sectors. Our mission -uniting professionals and interested persons in science, technology and the business community; -promoting the cooperation and exchange of ideas at international level between scientists and technologists; -promoting research activities at international level; -distributing knowledge about the Lecithin & Phospholipid field; -Inspiring public interest and understanding for the Lecithin & Phospholipid field; - awarding distinctions for outstanding scientific performance. Our goals -to promote standardization of materials and analytical methodology to analyze lecithin and phospholipids; -to organize and sponsor conventions, symposia, educational courses and ring trials (round robins); -to issue specialized relevant literature, position papers and newsletters; -to manage research projects and form working groups/divisions.
