Founded in 2014, the International Law Society (ILS) is a dynamic student association at the University of St. Gallen, committed to fostering meaningful engagement with international legal issues and connecting students who share this interest.
Beyond promoting academic discourse, the ILS actively supports the professional growth of its members by organising a wide array of events—including expert panels, networking opportunities, and thoughtfully curated social gatherings—that bring students into dialogue with leading legal practitioners, academics, and policymakers.
Through this multifaceted approach, the ILS cultivates a vibrant and intellectually stimulating community, serving primarily students of the Master’s in International Law (MIL) programme, while also welcoming HSG students from other legal disciplines who are drawn to the field of international law.
