Sérgio Frota, founder of I’M Ventures, is an entrepreneur, investor, and member of Advisory and Management Boards. With extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, investments, innovation, international business and management for family-owned companies, Sérgio has developed valuable expertise throughout his career across various sectors and venture models, including multinational corporations, the third sector and family businesses. His extensive global network is the result of years of dedication working with companies operating in multiple countries, involving numerous international trips for business development, project delivery, lectures, event organization and establishing operations in the USA and Europe. Sérgio holds a degree in Business Administration, a postgraduate degree in Strategic People Management from Fundação Dom Cabral and a specialization in International Economics from Harvard Extension School. He furthered his education with an Innovation Advisor certification from Go New. He was the creator and founder of the South of Minas Business Council, an initiative that brings together leading entrepreneurs from the South of Minas region and has become an important forum for business development, public policy discussions and innovation initiatives for the region. It is undoubtedly one of the greatest
