IMA® is focused exclusively on advancing the management accounting profession. Our global organization is committed to empowering our members to strengthen on-the-job skills, better manage companies, and accelerate careers.
The Charlotte Chapter supports these goals by providing continuing professional education, networking, and leadership training. Our chapter has approximately 400 members employed at all levels in a wide range of industry sectors throughout the Charlotte Region.
Membership is open to all finance and business professionals and non-members are welcome to attend events. Many of our members do not currently serve in accounting roles at their organization.
We hold a mix of breakfast, dinner and networking meetings from September through May in varying locations. Members involved in local chapters enhance their career skills, expand their professional network and develop friendships through Board service and chapter involvement.
The Chapter is run by a volunteer Board of Directors that meet the second Tuesday of the month at Johnson & Wales University on West Trade Street. All members are welcome to attend Board meetings and get involved.
