ImagineMED Inc. is a startup venture with the aim of developing noninvasive health solutions to quicken the process of detecting health-related abnormalities, and increasing the accessibility of early detection of abnormalities before harmful effects can develop.
Our current focus is on the development of the Near-Infrared Cerebral Scanner (NICS), which is a handheld, portable device that is capable of detecting the presence of a blood clot underneath an individual's skull after the occurrence of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). We created NICS to streamline the process from injury, to hospitalization, to surgery, enabling healthcare professionals to more quickly screen an individual for a blood clot. Current efforts are going into pre-clinical testing and product development, to finalize our first fully functional prototype.
