Imago Work

Imago Work is a vocational training and job placement program launched in 2020 that teaches life, social and work skills to young adults with cognitive differences. Students who complete the program are placed in an internship or part-time/full-time work with one of our partner businesses. Young adults with cognitive differences are all created with unique gifts to share with others and have a unique purpose in life to pursue. Unfortunately, they are often looked at with either pity or shame. This has led to stereotypes that have limited their opportunities in the workplace. At Imago Work we want to change that story through job training and job placement assistance so that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can share their gifts and discover their purpose. The word Imago means “image” in latin. We believe that the image of young adults with disabilities can be raised through meaningful work.
