Iman Surveying is a Professional LLC organized in 2017 when founder, Richard Iman, PLS, decided it was time to take control of, and responsibility for his career path as a Professional Land Surveyor. Having served his chosen profession in both the private and public sectors, Mr. Iman has seen the results of small firms' tendency to leverage low overhead (thus competing on based primarily on price, working on many small projects with small profit margins, and leaving little time or budget for quality control), medium to large firms' focus on efficiency (often sacrificing quality for quantity), and of bureaucratic red-tape (often going way beyond the point of diminishing returns in order to exhaust ALL possibility of incurring Professional Liability to the point that individual members of the general public are unlikely to be able to afford such services), and knew that a middle-ground must exist. He is intent on providing high-quality Boundary Surveying Services at a reasonable cost, and focusing on large and/or difficult boundary resolutions that the other firms do not have the time nor expertise to take on. Honesty, responsibility, communication, professionalism, expertise, and excellence are the cornerstones on which Mr. Iman has built his company. He considers it a privilege to perform his duties "to safeguard life, health and property, and to promote the public welfare." Our mission is to provide high-quality Professional Surveying Services, at a reasonable cost, to those who recognize the importance of protecting their investment; and to provide education about the potential lost value to those who do not.
