About iMAPS - New England Chapter

iMAPS New England is the largest chapter of The International Microelectronics Assembly and Packaging Society [iMAPS]. The chapter was founded in 1970 by early pioneers of electronic miniaturization and has, for over 50 years, continuously served participants in the Microelectronics, Optoelectronics, Semiconductor and Military Aerospace Communities throughout the Northeast. Our membership is cross-disciplinary, representing materials engineers/scientists, chemists, ceramists, metallurgists, mechanical/electrical designers and manufacturing/quality/reliability professionals across a broad spectrum of technologies. We also organize and present the largest regional microelectronics annual symposium and exhibition in our industry.
