Imara Horizon Company (IHC) is an enterprising business initiative, with her outfit registered on 6th January 2016 as a strategic investment, service provider for consultancy services and general business company in the United Republic of Tanzania, with certificate of incorporation number 122761.
IHC is committed in carrying business and investments in mix portfolios including but not limited to healthcare related supplies, advisory and consultancy services either independently or through joint ventures with local and/or international entities. IHC is wholly owned subsidiary of, The Benjamin William Mkapa Foundation (the ‘BMF’). As an independent subsidiary entity, IHC has its own board of directors and governance structure.
Core Objectives Are:
a. To facilitate and/or supply all general supplies to public and private entities including variety of medical equipment and non-medical equipment, supplies and consumables.
b. To operate and manage in partnerships, whether directly or through special purpose vehicle, hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centres, treatment centres, rehabilitation centres, clinics, medical and allied health training colleges and all related health or medical services.
c. To provide training, advisory and Consultancy services on all aspects of health-related matters particularly health systems, human resources for health, communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, policy advisory matters etc.
d. To facilitate and/or conduct in partnership a wide range of Institutional development programs and Career development programs for growth and sustainability that suits the global and local transforming environment.
e. To purchase land, or immovable property either singly or jointly or in partnership with any persons(s) or body corporate or partnership firm and develop and construct thereon residential, commercial complex(es) or comprising Health / Education facilities, Offices for resale out or renting and/ or hospitality services.
