IMarEST North West Community

The Institute of Marine Engineers, Scientists and Technologists (IMarEST) is an organisation which provides accreditation and continued professional development (CPD) for the Marine Industry. The North West branch encompasses Liverpool, North Wales, Manchester, Lancaster and Blackpool. Starting on Monday 2nd October, the branch will hold monthly lectures that are delivered by key personnel within the local and national Engineering Industry. Lectures will be held at Liverpool John Moores University. The branch hopes to enable knowledge transfer between industry experts whilst highlighting opportunities and providing practical insight into a career in Engineering. Lectures are open to all; the subjects and schedules will be advertised on this group page and they will commence at 1730. Refreshments (Coffee, Tea and Sandwiches will be provided). As well as regular CPD lectures, the branch organises a number of social events and technical visits, details for which will also be updated on this page.
