Our vision: Investing in tomorrows leaders today. Our mission We are a life skills based organization that is committed to investing and securing the future of young South Africans. Our heart Imbizo was birthed out of a desire to see social transformation and social justice in our communities. We have come to realize that when you give someone Identity, Belonging, Purpose and Education, you create a sustainable change in the lives of people from all walks of life. Our aim is to raise a generation of young people who has: • A sense of identity • A sense of belonging • A sense of purpose/destiny • A sense of significance We believe Imbizo will help bring hope and a sense of worth in individual lives and to communities. We understand that we all have basic primary human needs such as food, clothing and shelter. In addition to these basic needs, we believe that if a conducive environment is created in which people can grow and have the tools to become self sufficient, there is no telling what they can accomplish and become. If Imbizo is part of this conducive environment, individual and community growth will be fast tracked, stronger and more sustainable.
