IMechE GIKI Student Chapter

IMechE GIKI Student Chapter is a nonprofit, independent, student run society which believes in improving the world through engineering. It was initially founded in 2013, by a group of graduating students from the class of 2013 in Mechanical Department of GIKI. The prior aim of this chapter is to achieve the goals of IMechE which strives to improve the world of engineering by: 1. Developing engineers 2. Promoting engineering 3. Encouraging innovation 4. Bridging the gap between academia and industries Since its inception, it has served the student body by organizing several workshops and competitions for them, which not only help them in their academics, but also serve the higher purpose of opening their eyes to the real world of engineering.
