iMDS (iMedia Digital Services - a division of IV Media, LLC) operates a programmatic ad exchange and SSP, digital media consultancy and white-glove adops managed services agency serving MVPDs and ISPs, and Float Left, a premium OTT solutions provider and app development studio. iMDS was originally formed in 2021 from Synacor’s SSP and Portal Advertising business segment, and Float Left though acquisitions made by iMedia Brands, Inc., the parent company of home shopping networks ShopHQ and 1-2-3.tv GmbH, as well as luxury apparel brands Christopher & Banks and J.W. Hulme. In August 2023, iMedia Brands and iMDS went on to be acquired by IV Media, LLC (a subsidiary of SI Capital - owned by billionaire and 5-hour ENERGY Founder, Manoj Bhargava), creating a new omnichannel media powerhouse seemingly overnight. By strategically bringing together a growing portfolio of leading entertainment, broadcasting and commerce media brands including Audacy Inc., Cumulus Media, and Bridge Media Networks, IV Media now owns and operates a premiere end-to-end global media ecosystem of content, production, distribution, retail, data, advertising and technology solutions.
