El Instituto Mexicano de Ensayos No Destructivos (IMENDE, A.C.) is an educational institution, which was consolidated in April 1990 as a non-profit civil association, for more than 35 years has been dedicated to the diffusion of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Welding Inspection and related areas. In IMENDE A.C. We provide training services, qualification, and certification of personnel in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Welding Inspection, Metallurgy, and related sectors. We are an accredited body before the Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación, A.C (EMA) under the ISO/IEC 17024 standard for the certification of people in Non-Destructive Testing ISO 9712:2021 and NMX-B-482. Accreditation Number: 111/16 since 2016. We have had the Multilateral Recognition (MRA) of the World Organization for Non-Destructive Testing (ICNDT) since 2010. IMENDE is part of the committee for the development of non-destructive testing standards of the Cámara Nacional de la Industria del Hierro y el Acero (CANACERO), as well as being a member of the international subcommittee ISO TC-135.
