IMETRONIC: Mecatronic for Neurosciences Created in 1988, IMETRONIC company is dedicated to designing and assembling automatic apparatus for behavioral tests on animals. The company brings three main skills to the labs: mechanics (plastics and metal manufacturing), electronics and informatics. Every step of production is made by us in Pessac, near Bordeaux. We offer a large choice of apparatus to analyze animal’s behavior in diverse thematics such as operant conditioning, drug dependencies, learning and memory, locomotion and motor coordination, food and drink consumption, anxiety and depression…etc. The constant needs of researchers to develop new models make us innovate all the time, in particular in the coupling of external techniques with the analyses of behavior (optogenetics, electrophysiology, endomicroscopy…).
