‘Creating rockesque jewellery sculptures, handmade in London’
Imogen Belfield continues to push the boundaries with her jewellery collections, evolving her
designs from fashion to fine and developing new creations each season whilst continuing to
advance popular signature pieces. She is known for her distinct signature of mark making in metal,
a fusion between fluidity and texture. Creating unique jewellery sculptures that range from
cascading golden nugget pendants to statement 'rockesque' rings, Imogen Belfield's textural and
organic designs are instantly recognizable, one-of-a-kind jewels that are handmade in the UK.
As a jewellery graduate from the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design in
London, Imogen honed her craft whilst completing an internship with renowned jeweller Shaun
Leane during which she was given the opportunity to help with exciting projects, such as catwalk
pieces for collaborations with Alexander McQueen as well as with Daphne Guinness.
Since breaking into the world of fashion and jewellery in 2010, Belfield's covetable pieces have
won the attention from a plethora of celebrities including Georgia May Jagger, Uma Thurman,
Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Kim Kardashian and Rita Ora. Belfield’s jewellery was also
specially chosen for Cameron Diaz to wear in the Ridley Scott film ‘The Counsellor’. Belfield's
designs have further acquired prominent press in Vogue, ELLE, FT, Harper's Bazaar, WWD, The
Guardian, amongst others. Imogen Belfield's collections have been snapped by renowned stockists
worldwide including Reinhold Jewelers, Harvey Nichols, Maison Huit, Wardrobe Apparel to
name a few.
Over the years, Imogen Belfield has received many accolades including ‘Best in Gold’ at the
COUTURE 2016 Design Awards with her show stopping ‘Amazonian’ gold and diamond
necklace, being shortlisted ‘Designer Business of the Year’ by the UKFT in 2015 and most notably
being a graduate of the British Fashion Council’s Rock Vault at London Fashion Week curated by
Stephen Webster.
