Impact Engineering is a mechanical engineering company servicing the mining and manufacturing industries throughout Australasia. With a background in mills, kilns, heavy drives and heat exchangers, Impact Engineering predominantly services alumina, gold, iron ore, zinc, mineral sands and fertliser industries. Impact Engineering's workshop in Western Australia has engineering, heavy machining and fitting, as well as 5-axis CNC machining of the highest quality supported by DMG Mori-Seiki machining centres. The machines are used to achieve the accuracy required for gearbox casings, shafts, pump and blower housings along with more generalised machining. A signficant fabrication workshop supports the machining and fitting workshop enabling overhaul and manufacture of a range of mining equipment from heat exchangers, heavy earthmoving equipment to conveyor systems. Site services include mill and general plant construction, heavy maintenance, onsite machining, laser alignments and precision fitting.
