Impact Expansion

Impact Expansion is an independent investment fund, sponsored by KOIS, a pioneering impact investor in Europe, with offices in Brussels and Paris. Our mission is to provide growth capital to Western European SMEs that address critical needs in health, employment, and climate. We focus on three core themes: health accessibility and efficiency, upskilling and employment, and climate and nature. Aligned with SDGs 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, and 13, our fund was certified as Article 9 under the EU SFDR by EY in May 2022. Impact Expansion invests in both minority and majority positions, with equity investments between €5 million and €30 million, empowering founders and management teams to drive organic or external growth. Our unique blend of impact expertise and disciplined private equity approach is designed to generate both superior impact and strong financial returns. In June 2024, our first fund closed at its hard cap of €150 million, underscoring our commitment to fostering positive change across Western Europe.
