Impact KC is Kansas City’s most dynamic giving circle. Our new members join together each year to pool charitable resources as a way to maximize our giving impact on the community. Since our grassroots founding in 2004, we have awarded $1,000,000 local charities. Our concept is simple: Join. Vote. Impact KC.
Members join with a $1,000 annual gift and members can otherwise be as involved or as uninvolved in Impact KC as their schedule allows. Either way, each membership gift earns one vote and all votes carry the same value whether you’re our newest member or the president of the organization. At the end of each year, votes are cast to support any number of Kansas City’s local causes who apply for funding through our grant application process. Once the votes are tallied, every single dollar we raise is distributed to those charities selected by our members.
