IMPACT4MIA will partner with the Amigos 4 Kids, a Miami-based organization that provides comprehensive programs to prevent child abuse and neglect. Funded by The Children's Trust, they serve 180 children and 60 K-8 students, equipping them with skills for success and fostering a sense of belonging. The Simply Sprouts Garden project aims to create an outdoor learning space that fosters curiosity, environmental stewardship, and appreciation for nature. The project will revive an old fountain at Jose Marti Park, involving students in soil preparation, seed planting, watering, and weeding. A rainwater barrel will be incorporated to promote water conservation. The garden will also teach the farm-to-table approach and promote healthy eating habits. The project will include nutrient-rich soil, composting bins, seating areas, signage, and a rainwater collection system. Instagram: @IMPACT4MIA
