Our research is concerned with a wide range of vibration and wave phenomena in structures and fluids. The various areas of activity include non-linear structural dynamics, fluid-structure-interaction and rotating machinery dynamics.
In addition the group also has a specialised interest in turbomachinery and is home to the Rolls-Royce Vibration University Technology Centre (VUTC), which celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2020.
