Imperium is a new type of investment firm We work with governments, development organizations, capital providers, and management teams to write a new chapter for emerging markets. We believe fair and open markets are the key for all economies to thrive. We view the increased State control in many economies as an experiment that has already proven not to work. We are an engaged group that takes a hands-on approach to investing not because we believe we know better than the companies themselves but rather because we cannot govern or allocate capital well without understanding businesses. We believe equity is the most powerful tool for wealth creation. Companies and entire countries are transformed when everyone owns a stake in the success of their economy.
