LAUGH WHILE YOU LEARN! Improv(ed) Learning is the professional development and corporate training wing of The Radical Agreement Project (RA). I offer fun improv-based workshops and events that share basic improv comedy exercises that double as training exercises for valuable workplace skills. Specifically I offer in person workshops for groups between 8-20, virtual workshops for groups between 6-12 and interactive lectures for groups as large as 500. Did I mention that these services are a ton of fun for participants? Improv can be used to address the development of any soft skill. Common workshop focuses include: *Team Building *Communication *Working With Difficult People *Creativity *Presentation Skills *Agility (In The Face Of The Unexpected) *Sales *Storytelling RA is a unique improv comedy laboratory that operates mostly over Zoom. Founded by myself (Terry Withers) in 2020 in response to the Covid crisis. Founder Bio Terry Withers had been a sales professional for more than a decade when he first tried improv. Then he noticed: his sales were improving. He had become a better listener, better at establishing rapport, better at reaching agreement. This inspired him to launch his second career as an improv teacher and performer at New York City’s Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre. Combining his passion for improv with his professional acumen, he built and led UCB Theatre's highly successful sales team. He has since worked for major corporations leading improv-based professional development workshops and events. Location RA os based in Virginia Beach but relies on a national network of improvisers and a willingness to travel in order to provide in person anywhere in the US or Canada.
