The Bridge Improv Theater was founded in summer 2020 and is co-owned by Travis Johnson and David Raftery. The theater aims to bring "Clean and Clever Comedy" to Tempe, Arizona and the valley beyond. The Bridge offers comedy classes ranging from improv to stand up to sketch. The Bridge Improv Theater is named as such because its founders Travis and David believe in bringing the community together using the unique magic of improv comedy. Improv's foundational principles inherently nurture life skills such as listening, collaboration, and thinking positively. It is our aim at The Bridge Improv Theater to help foster these skills within the Valley of the Sun through art, laughter and a safe, inclusive space. Improv shows are every Friday and Saturday evening and proudly incorporate both long and short forms. Other services the theater offers are corporate shows and training. Theater rental is also available.
