IMRD Alumni Association

This is the official page of the IMRD alumni association. The association has four main goals: - Network building and information exchange As IMRD Alumni we inform each other about conferences, job offers, funding opportunities etc. You can easily do this by adding the hashtags #imrdalumni, #imrdalumni_events or #imrdalumni_jobs to your relevant posts on LinkedIn. At the same time, students interested in the IMRD programme have a contact point if they have questions about our experiences. - Alumni Events Many students always talked about the "IMRD family". Informal reunion meetings have already been organized within a class or even across classes. We want to go a step further and create a platform with the association that organizes and invites official alumni meetings on specific topics or occasions. - Scholarship Awarding As alumni, we remember student days when we waited eagerly for the scholarship payment to arrive in our bank account. Quite a few even had to pay for their studies without a scholarship. In the long term, we would like to collect membership fees (on a voluntary basis) and use them to provide small and easily awarded scholarships for field research as part of the master's thesis or study-related internships for our junior students. - Job Mapping What comes after the studies? PhD, desk officer at an international organization, voluntary service ? By getting a better idea of our career prospects, we contribute to the monitoring of the programme quality and, at the same time, we can expand our professional networks through a constantly growing database.
