As part of Government Decision 625 to relocate IDF bases to the Negev, the AMAN Transition Administration, led by the Southern Transition Director at the Ministry of Defense, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and the Innovation Authority, is establishing an advanced technological training center in the Negev.
iMtech's training programs leverage the unique knowledge and experience of AMAN's elite technology units, along with the support framework of the 8200 Alumni Association, as well as leading educational institutions in the southern region. This initiative creates an opportunity for young individuals from the southern region to integrate into quality, progressive employment in the hi-tech sector.
The program is strongly connected to the industry through a faculty of senior lecturers and mentors with prominent roles in the hi-tech field, supported by academic institutions and the connections of the 8200 Alumni Association – the largest and strongest group in Israeli hi-tech with over 21,000 active members.
The program offers two training tracks:
Data Science track for academy graduates
DevOps track

לתכנית חיבור חזק לתעשייה הנובע ממעטפת של מרצים ומנטורים בתפקידים בכירים בהייטק, יחד עם התמיכה של המוסדות האקדמיים והקשרים של עמותת בוגרי 8200 – הקבוצה הגדולה והחזקה בהייטק הישראלי עם מעל 21,000 חברים פעילים.
התכנית מציעה שני מסלולי הכשרה:
מסלול Data Science לאקדמאים - בשיתוף אוניברסיטת בן גוריון בנגב
מסלול DevOps - בשיתוף המכללה הטכנולוגית באר שבע
