In-TOWN Design Studio is an urban design, architecture, and town planning studio with a focus on contextual infill, redevelopment, and preservation; residential design, “missing middle” housing; and the design of walkable neighborhoods and communities. In-TOWN has extensive experience in placemaking for in-town historic neighborhoods; hamlet, village, and town centers; and new walkable and transit-oriented communities. We have a passion for context-sensitive design and creating design solutions that fit the character and scale of the locality. In-TOWN specializes in historic, vernacular and classical architectural design, but are well-versed in architectural styles ranging from traditional to modern.
