Inbox.com was launched in 2004. It quickly became a popular email service, serving millions of users.
Even though continuously keeping the email service up to date and introducing a variety of functions like photo and file storage - competing with Gmail turned out to be impossible.
Inbox.com stopped offering its free email service in 2016, only providing service to existing subscribers. Since 2016, signing up with Inbox.com has not been possible.
In 2023, a Norwegian email service provider (formerly known as Fjordmail Technologies) acquired Inbox.com. As the new owners, we are truly excited about rebuilding Inbox.com.
Our focus: Simple and fast user interface, completely ad-free, privacy-oriented with great customer support.
We have just started this journey.
Our first step was to migrate existing users and emails over to a stable and modern email platform. Our next step will be upgrading the user interface, including the mobile version.
