INBUILT is an EU-funded Horizon Europe project focused on transforming sustainable building practices in Europe. Led by Université Côte d'Azur, the project will develop and demonstrate 10 innovative building products and systems designed to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings significantly.
These products, utilizing local bio- and geo-materials as well as reused and recycled components, will be tested in real-world settings in France, the UK, and Germany. INBUILT's collaborative approach, involving a consortium of 16 partners, aims to advance the construction sector by demonstrating the viability of sustainable materials and construction techniques.
In addition, these solutions will be coupled with a digital platform, employing a Building Information Modelling approach to optimize the lifecycle management of construction projects, enhanced by Integrated Project Delivery. This initiative aligns with Europe's sustainability goals by promoting resource conservation and efficiency in the construction industry.
