That’s why inCapsula was created — a deeptech company developing active packaging with essential oils in nanocapsules, designed to significantly extend the shelf life of animal proteins, starting with chicken, which currently lasts an average of just 8 days. Our solution tackles the root of the problem: a nanocapsule that, when incorporated into the packaging’s polymer matrix, releases natural compounds that form a protective barrier against microorganisms, preserving the product longer — without altering its taste, color, or texture.
