INCCert is a mission-driven standard owner advancing regenerative, traceable supply chains for emerging natural commodities. We create standards that ensure credible sustainability claims across underrecognized sectors—including bast fibers and functional ingredients—enabling brands and producers to align sourcing practices with climate resilience, biodiversity, and ethical trade. In 2024, INCCert launched the Responsible Hemp Standard (RHS)—the first global chain-of-custody certification program for industrial hemp. Spanning applications from apparel and nonwovens to composites, construction, food, and feed, RHS defines a credible path for verifying sustainability at scale across the full hemp value chain. RHS-certified materials are audited by internationally recognized certification bodies—including Control Union—and are fully traceable from farm through to finished product. The standard ensures compliance with responsible farming, social labor protections, and environmentally sound practices, enabling verified sustainability claims and responsible labeling. Through RHS, manufacturers, brands, and suppliers can demonstrate a genuine commitment to responsible sourcing, while giving customers confidence in products that align with their values.
