Inorganic coagulants are essential to reduce impurities from water before we can drink it or before giving it back to nature or reusing it after having used it in our households and industries. INCOPA is the European inorganic coagulants producers association. It unites more than 30 producers with more than 80 production sites in Europe, which are responsible for 85% of the European coagulant production capacity.
INCOPA’s key activities are to:
- Demonstrate that water treatment with inorganic coagulants is highly sustainable
- Monitor, evaluate and provide science-based advice
- Play an active role in developing and improving legislations to ensure a high level of protection for human health and the environment
- Represent the industry to relevant regulatory bodies and other trade associations.
