The Inland Northwest Development Council (INDC) evolved from prior Spokane organizations focused on connecting grant-makers and grant-seekers and providing professional development for these groups. Initially informal, a charter was created in 1993 “to provide a structure for networking and learning.” The INDC officially filed for 501(C)(4) status in 2017.
Our mission is to educate and support individuals engaged in development and fundraising activities for nonprofit organizations in the Inland Northwest. Membership is open to any individual, institution, or organization that adheres to the ethical principles of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and other recognized organizations supporting nonprofit development.
