Indepen Consultancy

Indepen is a boutique utilities consultancy. We run a programme of Forums attended by senior executives representing diverse interests and a range of infrastructure sectors. Our monthly Indepen Forum was established in 1996 in response to concerns expressed by infrastructure CEOs that public policy was not informed by relevant investment and industry considerations, with the potential for unintended and value destroying consequences. It provides the opportunity for senior people in infrastructure, principally water, energy and technology to raise and debate issues under the Chatham House Rule and to build contacts and relationships with their counterparts. The events are by invitation and those attending are mainly executive and non-executive directors, policymakers, regulators and investors so the discussions are robust and constructive. As well as the Forums, Indepen offers tailored consultancy services for utilities clients and facilitates bespoke roundtables to explore policy and regulatory issues in more depth.
