At the heart of Independence Center is our Clubhouse, which is accredited by Clubhouse International, a globally recognized leader in changing the world of mental health. There are over 325 Clubhouses, and the Independence Center Clubhouse is the second largest in the world. Our members build close relationships with each other as well as staff, and come voluntarily for a purpose-filled day. Those who are able, get on a path for meaningful employment. Beyond our Clubhouse, Independence Center provides a comprehensive network of services including psychiatric care and counseling, highly personalized community support, coordination of care between medical providers, and housing.
