Independent Tree’s mission is to provide the highest quality tree services and to help our clients care for and maintain their trees. We take pride in being a home grown tree care business, servicing the Cleveland area for more than 20 years. The company was founded by certified arborist Alan Kraus with just a truck and climbing equipment. Over the years, through the aid of continued education, dedicated clients and our workers, Independent Tree has grown into a diversified company employing five certified arborists, a couple of tree crews, two dedicated sales representatives, two plant health care specialists, and Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Certified Treecare Safety Professionals. At Independent Tree, no tree service job is too big or too small. Our team is specialized in not only the management of your large trees, but also the care of all aspects of your landscape, such as shrubs and ornamentals. We offer a full line of tree services including tree planting, pruning, disease and pest management, total tree/plant health care, tree removal, stump grinding and more. We understand that caring for your trees and landscape is a big investment, and we want to help you care for them for years to come.
