The Jadavpur Association of International Relations

The Jadavpur Association of International Relations (JAIR), established in 2007–08, is India’s first academic association dedicated to scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the field of International Relations and Contemporary History. Based at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, JAIR aims to foster critical engagement with global political issues through conferences, lectures, publications, internships, and collaborative research initiatives. Over the years, JAIR has created a vibrant space for academic dialogue by bringing together students, scholars, diplomats, and professionals. Our activities include the annual Foundation Day Lecture, national and international seminars, paper presentation platforms, and academic publishing opportunities. Open to students, research scholars, teachers, and professionals from across institutions, JAIR is committed to building a dynamic network that promotes intellectual exchange and deepens the understanding of global affairs.
