The Design India Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making design education accessible, recognized, and integral to India’s academic landscape. Our mission is to promote skill-based, creative education by working with schools, educators, students, and policymakers. We aim to integrate design thinking, creative problem-solving, and innovation into mainstream learning, ensuring that students develop the skills necessary to thrive in the modern world. We are actively involved in transforming how design is perceived and taught through: School Outreach Programs – Conducting interactive workshops, design thinking sessions, and awareness campaigns to introduce students to the world of design. Competitions & Events – Organizing inter-school design challenges, exhibitions, and hackathons that encourage creative expression and problem-solving. Teacher Training & Curriculum Development – Equipping educators with resources to integrate design thinking into their teaching methodologies.
