The Indian Student Association, formed in 1985 by Sandeep Hirekerur, initially went by Indo-Am but later changed to the Indian Student Association. It was formed to provide professional/social support for international students from India and South Asia, local students of Indian and South Asian descent, and anyone interested in our bold and colorful Indian culture.
