Multiracial Student Union

The Census reported that multiracial people in the U.S. "are "measured at 9 million people in 2010 and 33.8 million people in 2020, a 276% increase." Therefore, creating a multiracial/multiethnic-specific club was considered a national need. MRSU was founded to celebrate and support the diverse identities of multiracial and multiethnic students on U's campus. We aim to create a welcoming community where individuals can embrace their heritage, explore their identities, and connect with others who share similar experiences. Through events, workshops, and advocacy efforts, we aim to foster unity and promote understanding among all students at the University of Minnesota. After all, we define unity between different races and cultures; we are the future.
