Indian Youth Climate Council

Indian Youth Climate Council (IYCC) is going to be the official largest youth advocacy group of all Indian youth (individual/organization/group etc.) which will be accredited as a youth advisory board by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF) and most probably will work closely with PMO India and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Initially, we will work on the model of the Danish Youth Climate Council which is accredited both nationally and internationally as this group has initiated the concept of Youth Climate Council. For this purpose, we will add a City-based YCC focusing on an entire state. The capital city of the state will be chosen for naming the city chapter catering to the entire state as a whole. Members of this council will serve pro bono initially. However, at a later stage, if we get any funding opportunity, it will be democratically decided by the Admin Group to whom we should give an honorarium. Thanks for being part of #FirstIndianYCC
