In this innovation environment, we will execute frontline model projects that serves the dual purpose of developing new treatments for PD and AMD and to define a generic blueprint for therapies using autologous induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). This will lead us to the future vision of IndiCell as a multi-hub physical centre for iPSC-based ATMPs that could support patient treatment all over Sweden. The transition to patient-specific treatments will significantly strengthen the innovation, health care and create new job opportunities in Sweden.
