The founder Lynn Goldstein brings her expertise from working with Fortune 50 companies as well as the leading privacy think tanks to strategic privacy consulting. In addition to privacy consulting, Indicium has compiled most of the common laws and summarized them in a question and answer format. This information allows organizations of all sizes – especially those in early and mid-stage – to discover the laws applicable to them and build policies and procedures to comply with the laws either on their own or with the assistance of Indicium. Organizations do not need to outsource the privacy function and create a Virtual Privacy Office. Instead, privacy knowledge can be distributed across all functions, making privacy by design a part of all areas and lines of business (not just technology).
